QA Test Lead

Position: QA Test Lead (Usability)

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $75/hr

Job Description:

Lead end-to-end QA for interactive digital products with multimedia elements (text, images, audio, animation) focusing on usability and overall product quality.

Ensure compliance with ADA / WCAG 2.x accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, focus order, screen reader compatibility (JAWS/NVDA/VoiceOver), ARIA labels, and color contrast validation.

Align testing practices with OWASP security guidelines and validate security-related functional behaviors across the application.

Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability documentation.

Perform end-to-end functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and usability validation across browsers/devices.

Execute API testing using SoapUI for REST/SOAP services, validating request/response payloads, status codes, schema, and error handling.

Design, build, and maintain reusable and scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (C#) with NUnit, implementing maintainable patterns (POM, reusable utilities, reporting).

Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, enabling scheduled runs, release gates, and publishing test results and reports.

Partner with Product, UX, Developers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum model to drive sprint-level testing, defect triage, and quality sign-off.

Provide end-user software training and create training materials (user guides, SOPs, quick reference documents) to support adoption and releases.
